Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic said the 117-102 win over Orlando Magic ‘was a great and very difficult win’ and commented Dirk Nowitzki and Mavericks head coach Jason Kid.
The 24-year-old Slovenian international led Dallas to a comeback against Orlando, scoring 29 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists.
“We have to keep fighting, play solid defense because we have a long way to go,” added Doncic, who is averaging 32 points, 10.7 rebounds and 9.3 assists per game.
The four-time All-Star said he wants to improve everything about his game, adding that he was fortunate enough to play at least one season with Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki.
“The things he did for Dallas are incredible, and not only as a player, but also as a person. I think he should be an example for every player in the league,” Doncic continued about Nowitzki, and as for Jason Kidd, the Slovenian commented : “He’s been in my position so he knows what it’s all about. One of the best pitchers in the world. I’m lucky to get advice from him.”
