Borussia Dortmund secured a spot in the Champions League final for the first time since 2013, beating PSG 1-0 away.
Building on their 1-0 advantage from the first leg, Dortmund extended their lead when Mats Hummels capitalized on a defensive lapse to head in from Julian Brandt’s corner.
Despite PSG’s relentless efforts, including a missed opportunity from Warren Zaire-Emery and a strike against the post from Nuno Mendes, Dortmund’s resilient defense held firm. A pivotal moment came when PSG believed they had earned a penalty, only for the decision to be reversed after referee Daniele Orsato ruled that the foul occurred just outside the area.
PSG, who have never claimed the European title, faced frustration as Dortmund’s defense thwarted their attacks. Even Kylian Mbappe’s efforts, including one deflected onto the crossbar, couldn’t break Dortmund.

With the final whistle, Dortmund sealed their place in the final at Wembley on June 1st. The potential for an all-German showdown looms large, reminiscent of the 2013 final where Bayern Munich emerged victorious over Dortmund in London.
