The small details decided a highly competitive game

The Phoenix Suns emerged victorious against the Utah Jazz 131-128 in a hard-fought match on Friday night.

It was a brilliant performance from Phoenix star duo Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, whose heroics proved sufficient for the team’s success.

Durant finished off with 38 points, while Booker notched 24 points and a career-high 15 assists.

The Jazz were breathing down Suns neck as late rally put them only a point behind, but a critical 3-pointer from Durant, his 6th of the match, put the game to bed.

“He hit a bomb and won the game. It was a big-time shot by a big-time player but he was really terrific the whole night,” Phoenix coach Frank Vogel said.

Jordan Clarkson led the way for Utah with a career-high 37 points. Lauri Markkanen added another 21, while John Collins notched 15 points with 14 rebounds.

“It hurts to lose the game especially when you give yourself an opportunity to win,” Markkanen said.
