Andy’s defeat can be described as a shock at his first match at the Miami Open. The British started 2023 very strong, and a lot more was expected from him today, but he looked tired and slow today.
Dusan won 2:0 sets (6-4 7-5) to make it to the 1/32 finals, where his opponent will be the American Maxime Cressy.
Murray made more aces (6) than Lajovic (4) but didn’t win any of his three chances for break point as Dusan realized 2 out of 3 chances for breaks, which was enough for the victory.

That was one of the best matches for Lajovic in the last two years, as this was only the fifth win on hard for the Serbian since the start of 2022.
