The wide receiver (34) will be reunited with ex-Tennessee Titans teammate A.J. Brown, who demanded Titans to make a deal for him 2 years ago.
Philly recently placed WR Quez Watkins on injured reserve with a hamstring problem and worked out receivers Marquez Callaway and Dezmon Patmon at the beginning of the week. However, they decided to make a move for Jones, who will be on his 4th franchise in 4 seasons.
Julio’s 13,629 receiving yards in the NFL are the most of any active player in the league.
Along with being a teammate with Brown in the Titans, Jones was on the same team as a Philadelphia receiver when the 2 were part of the Atlanta Falcons for 1 campaign.
Jones is Atlanta’s organization record holder in receiving yards (12,896). He was part of the Tampa Bay Bucs in the past campaign.
Don’t be surprised if AJ Brown played a part in the #Eagles getting Julio Jones…
AJ Brown campaigned HARD for the #Titans to trade for him and has idolized him for a very long time. He even said Julio is the reason why he started playing football.
