Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown didn’t answer directly when asked about speculation that he isn’t the same footballer that he was in the past.
“I believe Saquon Barkley ain’t the same footballer either, then,” A.J. shared at his locker.
Philly is dealing with a lot of problems on offense this season. The Eagles are ranked 25th in total yards (300.1 per match), 28th in passing yards (184.9), and 29th in 3rd-down conversion rate (below 34%). Philadelphia is averaging 115 rushing yards per match (17th in the league), compared with 179 last year (2nd back then in the NFL).
A.J. has 38 catches for 457 yards and 3 TDs in 9 matches and is on pace for 812 yards, which would be a career low for him.
He was asked if he watches what other receivers are doing in the NFL in the current campaign, such as CeeDee Lamb, and he told the reporters that he didn’t do it, because it would make him sad.
“At the moment, I tried to stay focused and do everything possible to improve my game and help the team,” shared the Eagles wide receiver.
