The league again left seeking solutions after a 397-point match.

After talking about since the beginning of the seasons, how important it is to have a more competitive All-Star Game, the league commissioner Adam Silver doubled down on that front 1 day before the match, sharing, “I believe we’re going to see a great match” in the National Basketball Asociation’s annual midseason showcase at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

However, the East Conference set the all-time scoring record by becoming the 1st roster to surpass 200 points in what was eventually a 211-186 triumph against the West Conference – commissioner’s disappointment from what happened was obvious.

“And to the Eastern Conference All-Stars, you notched the most points,” Adam shared after the match. “Well … congratulations.”

Both teams refused to play defense and the game was almost unwatchable for each fan that wanted to see real basketball.

“I believe it’s something we need to figure out,” shared Los Angeles superstar LeBron James, who set a new record with playing his 20th All-Star Game but didn’t appear on the court in the 2nd half as LeBron manages an ankle problem.
