The veteran forward (34) joined the Canadian NHL franchise on a professional tryout during training camp in the offseason. Gagner notched 8 goals and gave 6 assists in 48 matches with the Winnipeg Jets in the past campaign before being sidelined with an injury and undergoing surgery in March.
