Edmonton signs Derek Ryan to 2-year deal extension

The Edmonton Oilers decided to keep Derek Ryan and inked a 2-season contract extension with the forward, and he will earn almost 1 million dollars per campaign.

The veteran (36) notched 13 goals and had 20 points in 80 matches this past campaign with Edmonton, his 2^nd with the franchise. In the postseason, Derek had 1 goal and 2 assists in 11 matches as the Canadian team was eliminated in the 2^nd round in 6 matches by the Vegas Golden Knights.
