The Minnesota Star shared that he is optimistic about his team.

Despite the Thunder outscoring the Timberwolves by 30 points in the 2nd half of the 114-88 Game 1 defeat to start the West Conference finals, Minnesota Timberwolves leader Anthony Edwards is not worried.

“I feel fantastic,” Anthony shared after notching only 5 points in the 2nd half, finishing the match with only 18 points.

Edwards believes that his team will get back in the matchup by winning the next game: “Without a doubt, I must shoot more. I only shot 13 times. I need to play with the ball less because they double-teamed me. I will rewatch the match and I see what I can do differently to improve.”

The Wolves star revealed that the OKC’s schemes dictated his approach in the opening match from the series. Minnesota went from notching 72 points in Game 5 of the conference ½ finals in closing out the Warriors to only 20 against the Thunder – the fewest paint points in a match for the organization since Game 1 of the 2004 conference finals vs. the Lakers.

Donte DiVincenzo claimed that his team had good looks, but they missed it and must shot better in Game 2.
