Anthony Edwards led the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 107-90 victory over the Golden State Warriors, scoring 30 points and dishing out nine assists in the first of back-to-back games between the teams at Chase Center. The Timberwolves showcased their defensive and offensive strength, limiting the Warriors’ comeback attempts.

Stephen Curry returned to action for Golden State after resting his sore knees in the previous game and contributed 23 points. However, his efforts weren’t enough to overcome Minnesota’s dominance. Curry’s 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter cut the deficit to 80-77, but Golden State’s turnover issues and defensive lapses allowed Minnesota to pull away.
Rudy Gobert added a solid double-double for the Timberwolves, recording 17 points and 11 rebounds. Draymond Green, back from a calf issue, nearly posted a double-double with 10 points, nine rebounds, and six assists but also picked up his seventh technical foul of the season.
The two teams will face off again on Sunday, as the Timberwolves aim to complete a sweep of the mini-series.
