The Villains manager shared they will seek “revenge” for their loss in Poland when they welcome Legia Warsaw in the ECL.
The Premier League club lost 3-2 against Legia in their 1st match from the group, but they have triumphed in all 3 matches since and have the same number of points as their next opponent – 9.
Unai Emery joined the media this afternoon to preview our #UECL clash with Legia Warszawa. 🗣️
“They are doing very well in this competition, they won [the return fixture] and they deserved it.

“They played fantastically in front of their supporters, and we lost because they were the better side in the 1st match,” admitted Emery.
“It was a very important lesson of the difficulties that we will face in the Europa Conference League.”
Unai added that both clubs will give their best in the upcoming clash as both want to finish in the 1st place and advance to the knockout phase of the tournament, as each winner in the group stage will play 2 fewer matches.
