Jose Mourinho's Roma will go against Feyenoord

Manchester United will encounter Sevilla in the quarter-finals of the Europa league in their hunt for European silverware.

The Spanish team are having a nightmare season, currently sitting 13th in La Liga only two points above the relegation zone.

However, they are well known specialist in this event, having won it 6 times, which is miles away from anybody else in this competition. Their last success came in 2020. The Red Devils do not have fond memories from that edition of the Europa League since they crashed out from the event to the exact same opponent in the semi-finals.

Old Trafford is the venue for the first leg.

Juventus will face Sporting Lisbon, who eliminated one of the favorites Arsenal in an emphatic fashion.

The Old Lady will be desperate for silverware to put behind their miserable season, which saw them enmeshed in a tough fight for European football in Serie A after being deducted 15 points for transfer fees infringment. The first leg takes place in Turin.

The winner of these two will face the winner from Manchester United/Sevilla clash.

Roma were drawn against Feyenoord as Jose Mourinho’s team are clear favorites to progress to the semis. However, the Dutch side showed real ruthlesness in their 7-1 demolition of Shakhtar Donetsk in the return leg last 16 match. They host the Italian side at home for the first leg.

Finally, Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen face a likeable opposition Unuin Saint-Gilloise. The modest Belgium side has gone under the radar lately, but have showed promising football.

They will travel to Germany for their first leg.

The winner from their match will go against the winner Roma/Feyenoord clash.

The home team in the final for administrative reasons will be the winner of semi-final 1 (Juventus/Sporting vs. Manchester United/Sevilla).
