The FA will not punish Erling Haaland for his actions against official Simon Hooper’s decision to halt play during the Sky Blues’ 3-3 draw vs. Spurs yesterday. Still, the reigning EPL champions have been charged with failing to control the behavior of their footballers.
Pep Guardiola’s side striker Haaland responded to a video clip on Twitter of the referees’ decision not to allow Jack Grealish to race onto a through ball in the 4th minute of the extra time at the end of the match, with Erling writing, “Wtf.”

The English Football Association has shared with the media that the Norway international actions did not breach rules concerning regulations covering media publications and social media activity.
Haaland, the EPL leading scorer in his campaign, has avoided suspension for his emotional reaction against Hooper during the extra time.
