One French supporter is in hospital, but in stable condition

A Paris Saint-Germain fan was stabbed in Milan during clashes between Milan’s ultras and the French champions on Monday night, AFP reported, citing Italian police.

The two teams face each other in a group stage match of Europe’s most prestigious club tournament on Tuesday.

The Frenchman, whose name has not been announced yet, was seriously injured and was transported to hospital. According to the Italian media, the supporter is in a stable condition and his life is not in danger.

The clashes are said to be the result of an attack by Rossoneri fans who ‘ambushed’ the PSG supporters.

In tonight’s game, it is expected that AC Milan ultras will welcome PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with whistles and fake money bills, thrown at him. The Italian left the Rossoneri three years ago as a free agent after refusing to renew his contract.
