The Portuguese midfielder replaced defender Harry Maguire, whom the head coach stripped from his role as captain after Maguire is rarely part of the 1st team squad.

Bruno, who has 64 goals and 54 assists for Man. In his 185 matches for the side in all tournaments, United was the captain when Harry was not on the field, who spent most of the past campaign on the bench.
Manchester is ready to sell Maguire in the current transfer window and is waiting for West Ham to make an official bid, as the Hammers wanted the England international in the previous transfer window.
