Iga Swiatek achieved the remarkable feat of winning her third consecutive French Open women’s title with a dominant victory over Italian 12th seed Jasmine Paolini.
Poland’s Swiatek, 23, maintained her recent dominance on the Roland Garros clay, securing a 6-2, 6-1 win against first-time major finalist Paolini. The world number one initially trailed due to an early break but quickly recovered, winning 11 of the next 12 games.

This victory has earned Swiatek her fourth title in Paris and her fifth Grand Slam triumph overall, following her 2022 US Open win. Swiatek joins Monica Seles and Justine Henin in the record books as the only players to achieve a ‘three-peat’ in women’s singles since the Open era began in 1968.
Additionally, Swiatek is the youngest player in the Open era to win four titles at Roland Garros. After sealing her victory in just over an hour, Swiatek celebrated by sinking to her knees before dancing around the court.
