Liu Jun, Inter’s former director and board member, has been arrested in China for corruption, according to Italian media.
Liu, 46, was previously chairman of Jiangsu Suning and was the Nerazzurri’s interim general manager and a member of the club’s board from 2016 to 2018.
Liu’s arrest comes six months after Chinese Football Federation president Chen Xuyuan was accused of “serious violations of the law” and Chinese authorities expanded the investigation to all football clubs in the country.
