Former Pittsburgh Penguins player Adam Johnson died in an accident during a game in England, Reuters reported.
The forward died in a horrific accident during Nottingham Panthers’ clash with Sheffield Steelers on Saturday.
Johnson was playing for the Nottingham Panthers for the second season already, and after the incident on the ice, he received emergency treatment from the medics on the spot, but this did not prevent his death.
The police also arrived at the scene, and it is said that he died after being cut on the neck with a skate.
