Formula 1 management is working on optimizing the race calendar for 2024 season. Options are being considered for the race hosts to get rescheduled dates.
For example, Formula 1 is considering holding races in Australia, China and Japan. For this purpose, the leadership of Formula 1 will have to convince the organizers of the Grand Prix of Japan to change the date and move the race to the spring part of the championship.
A change at the start of the 2024 season in Saudi Arabia is also under consideration. In this case, the Bahrain Grand Prix will be rescheduled to not take place during Ramadan.
The option of holding the races back-to-back in Canada and Miami, so that there is no return to Europe between the two stages, is already being considered.
Canadian Grand Prix organizers are not opposed to this option, but reportedly do not want to move the date of the race from June to another month.
