Rickie Fowler is aiming for his first major trophy at British Open, an event he has done well in the past.
The American is currently in a fine run of form and finished runner-up last time the event took place, behind Rory Mcllroy.
He arrives in England having just having just clinched victory, which ended his winless drought, that lasted almost 4 years.
“Good time to be here,” Fowler said on Tuesday. “Obviously played good here in ’14, coming off the play this year and how we’ve been playing. And nice to have a win under our belt now. Definitely looking forward to this week.”
Fowler was unimpressive at the Scottish Open, finishing tied for 42nd, but that bothered him very little as he clinched the Rocket Mortgage Classic earlier in the year.
