Rickie Fowler and Wundham Clark finished atop of the leading charts of the US Open on Saturday.

The former would have been more disappointed with the outcome, as he had a chance to go clear as he had 3 1/2 feet on his last shot, which he missed.
“It would be nice for that one to go in,” Fowler said. “Really doesn’t matter — having the lead, being one back, two back — you’re going to have to play good golf tomorrow. Bummer to have that one slip away, but tomorrow is a whole new day.”
Fowler initially led the way with 70-foot birdie putt, but later lost his advantage with a three-putt bogey on the 18th hole, which resulted in CLark tying him up, when he wrapped up the day with a closing birdie.
