France managed to beat Gibraltar 3-0 in a Group B match of the 2024 Euro 2024 qualifiers.
With the three points, France remains at the top of the provisional ranking with 9 points and a goal difference of 8:0. Second is Greece with 6 points.
France took the lead in Gibraltar inside three minutes of play. Kingsley Coman opened some space on the right and crossed. Olivier Giroud jumped high and could not have missed with his header.
In stoppage time of the first half, Gibraltar defender played a handball in the penalty area and the referee pointed to the spot after VAR intervened. Kylian Mbappe got the ball in his hands and converted for 2:0.
