Ex-heavyweight champ Tyson Fury shared his latest retirement from boxing today, 1 month after being defeated in a rematch by Oleksandr Usyk.
The English boxer called it a career on multiple occasions previously, most recently during the spring of 2022 after his triumph against Dillian Whyte. However, he fought again at the end of the year.

“I will not waste your time. I would like to tell you that I’m retiring from the sport,” the Brit shared on social media.
“I love every minute of my career, but now I think that it is time to hand up the gloves. I wish all the best to everybody.”
Tyson also retired in 2013 and 2017 in social media posts, with both times returning shortly after that.
The Brit lost for a 2nd time to his Ukrainian opponent at the end of last year as Fury tried to regain his heavyweight world championship titles.
Rumors were that Fury would finally face Anthony Joshua in 2025 as both boxers are near the end of their careers, so now that seems unlikely. The defeats by Oleksandr were the only defeats in Tyson’s career.
