Gabriel Jesus will be sidelined for couple of weeks after undergoing special procedure to his knee, manager Mikel Arteta confirmed.
Jesus missed out Arsenal triumph in the Emirates Cup against Monaco and will be hoping to get back fit as soon as possible.
However, the 26-year-old will certainly miss the upcoming clash against Manchester City in the Community Shield this weekend.

“Unfortunately he had a little procedure this morning. He had some discomfort in his knee which has been causing some issues and he had to go in and resolve it.” Arteta said.
The striker’s absence is a huge blow for the Gunners, who were hoping to make a lightning start in the Premier League in order to mount a serious title challenge.
Their opening game is against Nottingham Forrest on August 12.
