Denver Broncos‘ offensive lineman Garett Bolles launched a heated defense on his teammate Russell Wilson, stating his firm believe that the quarterback is fully capable to make up for his lackluster debut campaign from last year.
Bolles, who missed the last 13 weeks of 2022 with a broken leg, was unhappy with the criticism Wilson faced, underlining that it was more of a personal issue than a performance-related one.

“I think he’s phenomenal,” Bolles said. “We knew who he was as a person, we know who he is. … I love him dearly. I think he’s one of the greatest quarterbacks in the game the last 10 years. Stats don’t lie, just because you have one rough season you can’t dictate what type of guy, his personality, what he goes through.”
Heading into the 2023 season Wilson will hope to rediscover his form with the Seahawks after notching 3, 524 yards, 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
