Alejandro Garnacho has signed a new five-year contract with Manchester United after holding talks for the last couple of weeks, the club announced on Friday.
The young Argentinian is enjoying a phenomenal breakthrough season with the Red Devils, making 31 appearances until his unfortunate injury in March and bagging 5 goals, along with 6 assists.
The news comes after United froze his move to the Argentinian U-20 World Cup next month and that at first glance would seem to have deteriorated both parties relationship.
However, nothing of the above has unravaled in a negative way, as both parties came to terms earlier today.
“When I joined this incredible club, I dreamt of achieving my debut, playing at Old Trafford, scoring my first goal and winning trophies with this badge on my chest.” the delighted Garnacho said
“I feel very proud and emotional to have experienced these moments already, together with my family who have supported me every step of the way. We are all humbled to have this chance to continue our journey at Manchester United and I have already begun to work on achieving the next set of targets and ambitions.”
