Former Manchester United player Gary Neville has criticized the club for failings in recent years and thinks the situation is increasingly looking like a “failure spiral”.
The Red Devils are struggling for years now and won just one EFL cup in six seasons.
“United are stuck in a spiral of continuous failure, especially when you look at the transfer fees spent and the successes of the past. And this will not change until there are real structural changes. I say this again and again. There is no point in saying more about it,” he wrote on social media.
After 14 rounds of the English Premier League, the club is in 7th place in the standings with 24 point and English media reports that part of the squad is already losing trust in team manager Erik Ten Hag.
