George Russell secured pole position for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, narrowly edging out Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz by just a tenth of a second. This impressive qualifying session means Russell will start at the front of the grid in Sin City.
Starting from the second row, Alpine’s Pierre Gasly managed a strong performance to clinch third, with Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari lining up alongside him in fourth. Reigning champion Max Verstappen will begin the race from fifth.

The top 10 positions were rounded out by Lando Norris, Yuki Tsunoda, Oscar Piastri, Nico Hulkenberg, and Lewis Hamilton.
Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso had disappointing qualifying results, finishing P16 and P17, respectively, and missing out on advancing further under the neon lights of the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.
Williams’ struggles persisted, as Franco Colapinto collided with the wall in the late stages of Q2, further compounding the team’s challenging season.
