Free agent star Paul George has agreed on a 4-year, 212 million dollar maximum deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Paul’s contract – will feature a player option on the final campaign in 2027-28 — brings him back to the East to play alongside MVP center Joel Embiid and All-Star guard Tyrese Maxey as they will try to dethrone Boston Celtics in the upcoming season.
The forward and his representative met in LA with Phillys contingent that featured owner Josh Harris, president of basketball operations Daryl Morey, GM Elton Brand and 76ers legend Julius Erving.

The meeting between George and Philadelphia came after months of unsuccessful discussions between him and the Clippers on a contract to remain in LA.
Joel, Tyrese and Paul were All-Stars in the past campaign and form 1 of the most formidable big 3s in recent history in the league as the balance could be the key for Sixers success.
George (34) played in the past 5 years with the Clippers and averaged 23 points, 6 boards and almost 5 assists over 263 regular-campaign matches.
