Germany players have reportedly questioned new boss Julian Nagelsmann’s methods after string of poor results.
The 36-year-old replaced Hansi Flick back in September, but so far has failed to deliver the expected success as Germany have succumbed to 3 losses in their last 4 games, including back-to-back defeats to Turkey and Austria.
According to Bild, many players have expressed their dislike to Nagelsmann and think he is only suited to club management, but lacks the ability to be a national coach.
One of the main issue is that the 36-year-old relies a lot on his philosophy and that can be difficult to implement in the short international breaks.
For instance, he often experiments by starting players out of position – most recently Kai Havertz was put as a left back, despite playing his whole career as an attacking midfielder.
Leroy Sane is another example as he was forced to play on the right wing, despite playing on the left the majority of his career.
