The Milwaukee Bucks got their third victory in the In-Season Tournament, defeating the Washington Wizards 131-128 on Friday.
The 2021 champion was trailing 35-34 as the away side took an early lead. By halftime, the one-point margin remained. In the third quarter, Milwaukee turned things around and took a 3-point lead before the last 12 minutes of the game, a lead that remained until the game’s final whistle.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard played a great game as the Greek star scored 31 points, to which he added 9 rebounds and 3 assists in 37 minutes on the floor. Lillard had a double-double – 31 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists.
However, the most productive was Brook Lopez, who scored 39 points and added 5 rebounds and 1 assist in 32 minutes of play, putting the trio tally up to 101 points.
Jordan Poole finished with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for Washington in 34 minutes on the floor.
