NY Giants RB Saquon Barkley revealed he does indeed have a high ankle sprain.
The running back, who announced the problem in an interview with Amazon, sustained his injury in Sunday’s 31-28 win against the Arizona Cardinals. The 1st expectation was to be an ordinary sprain, but Saquon shared more details about the problem that kept him off the field.
Barkley will probably miss several weeks as he is expected to be healthy again within a month.
Saquon is optimistic and shared that it’s great for him that his franchise’s next match is in 11 days in Week 4 vs. the Seattle Seahawks on October 2nd.
A 2-time Pro Bowler, Saquon had 29 carries for 114 yards and a TD in the 1st two matches of the campaign. The running back also had 9 catches for 41 yards and a TD.
Giants were defeated 30-12 by the 49ers on Thursday night and fall to 1-2.
