Giants QB Dart claims the team ‘can’t wait’ to play for Harbaugh

NY Giants QB Jaxson Dart spoke “at length” with boss John Harbaugh during the organization’s courtship with the Super Bowl XLVII winner, including a few times on the phone. Then they had a face to face during John’s interview on January 14^th.

The head coach, who agreed a contract by the end of that day and inked to be New York Giants boss by the weekend, was the preferred choice for Jaxson and his teammates.

“When we heard that John Harbaugh could become our next head coach, that was the moment that made us happy and want him to be appointed,” the Giants quarterback shared with the media. “That’s why it’s no surprise that we all can’t wait to return to the field and being coached by John.”

Caught up with Jaxson Dart today on the hiring of John Harbaugh. Said they spoke several times on the phone "at length" + in-person during his interview before he was hired.

Harbaugh was dismissed earlier this month after 18 campaigns with the Ravens and only several days later, John was hired by the Giants.
