New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is reportedly changing agents prior to signing a massive new deal with the NFL club.
WOW: #Giants QB Daniel Jones wants more than New York has offered him. Possibly as much as $45 million per year, or more, per @ProFootballTalk.
😳😳😳
That is equal to or more than #Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and #Bills QB Josh Allen AAV’s🤯. pic.twitter.com/zWgwfS6PZl

The 25-year-old Jones has been represented by CAA since being the sixth overall draft pick out of Duke in 2019.
According to sources, the expectation is that he will join Athletes First in search of a long-term deal.
He could be franchise tagged if he does not agree to a long-term deal prior to March 7. The franchise tag number for quarterbacks in 2023 currently sits at $32.4 million.
However, Jones is reportedly seeking more than $10M more than that. Whether he gets anywhere near that asking price remains to be seen.
