Jim Nill (Dallas Stars), Don Sweeney (Boston Bruins), and Bill Zito (Florida Panthers) are the general managers that can triumph with the Jim Gregory Award for the best GM in the past season.

Sweeney was part of the record-breaking Boston Bruins, but the franchise was eliminated in the 1^st round after the phenomenal regular season.

Zito saw Florida Panthers to clinch the playoffs in the last moment, but now they are very close to reaching the Stanley Cup final.
