The Vegas Golden Knights have been dealt a major injury as both goaltenders Adin Hill and Logan Thompson will be out with injuries for Thursday’s clash with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
The Vegas Golden Knights have 200 minutes of NHL goaltending experience on the active roster. Is GM Kelly McCrimmon concerned about Jiri Patera being called upon in the absence of Adin Hill and Logan Thompson? #vegasbornhttps://t.co/IchHJmM5OD

Thompson limped off during the 6-3 loss against Carolina on Tuesday night with an upper-body injury, while Hill has missed the first 7 games of December with lower-body injury and could only last 6:25 against Ottawa.
Jiri Patera will most likely step in their void as he has already made his debut appearance this season.
“We’ve got some untested goaltenders going in there, we’ve got play well in front of them,” Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said. “For us, every team goes through different parts of the year where you get tested. That’s what we’re doing right now.”
