Reilly Smith and William Karlsson also notched for the Vegas franchise, and Ivan Barbashev helped with 2 assists. Goalie Adin Hill stopped 39 shots.
Connor McDavid and Warren Foegele netted in the 1st period for the Canadian team, and Edmonton even had the lead 2-1, but then everything went wrong for them.
VGK will play in the Western Conference finals for the 4th time in the team’s 6-year history as their opponent will be Dallas or Seattle, as the 2 franchises will play Game 7 on Monday.
The Vegas Golden Knights are in the conference finals for the fourth time in its six year existence (including semi-final round in 2021).
