Vegas Golden Knights will play in the Western Conference final.

Jonathan Marchessault had a hat trick as he notched 3 goals for the 2nd time in his NHL career in the playoffs, and the Vegas Golden Knights won against the Edmonton Oilers 5-2 in Game 6 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB, and will go to the West Conference finals.

Reilly Smith and William Karlsson also notched for the Vegas franchise, and Ivan Barbashev helped with 2 assists. Goalie Adin Hill stopped 39 shots.

Connor McDavid and Warren Foegele netted in the 1st period for the Canadian team, and Edmonton even had the lead 2-1, but then everything went wrong for them.

VGK will play in the Western Conference finals for the 4th time in the team’s 6-year history as their opponent will be Dallas or Seattle, as the 2 franchises will play Game 7 on Monday.

The Canadian team failed to reach for a second season in a row the West finals as they were eliminated by Colorado (the Stanley Cup winner) last season in the Conference finals.
