Vegas is leading 2-1 in the matchup against Edmonton.

Jonathan Marchessault notched his 1st two goals in the postseason, Jack Eichel helped with a goal and assisted for the Vegas Golden Knights to destroy Edmonton Oilers 5-1 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB, and is now leading 2-1 in the West 2nd Round series between them.

Zach Whitecloud and Chandler Stephenson netted the other goals for Golden Knights. Laurent Brossoit left the game injured in the 1st period as Adin Hill entered the ice and made 25 saves from 25 shots.

Warren Foegele notched the 1st goal in the match and the only one for the Oilers, as Vegas scored 5 after that. Stuart Skinner was subbed in the 2nd period after allowing 4 goals on 23 shots as Jack Campbell went on his place and finished with 9 saves.

Game 4 will be on Wednesday again at Rogers Place in Canada.

Vegas won Game 1 6-4, but Edmonton bounced back with a 5-1 victory in Game 2.
