Golden Knights trash Oilers 5-1 to win Game 3 and lead 2-1

Jonathan Marchessault notched his 1^st two goals in the postseason, Jack Eichel helped with a goal and assisted for the Vegas Golden Knights to destroy Edmonton Oilers 5-1 at Rogers Place in Edmonton, AB, and is now leading 2-1 in the West 2^nd Round series between them.

Zach Whitecloud and Chandler Stephenson netted the other goals for Golden Knights. Laurent Brossoit left the game injured in the 1^st period as Adin Hill entered the ice and made 25 saves from 25 shots.

Warren Foegele notched the 1^st goal in the match and the only one for the Oilers, as Vegas scored 5 after that. Stuart Skinner was subbed in the 2^nd period after allowing 4 goals on 23 shots as Jack Campbell went on his place and finished with 9 saves.

Vegas won Game 1 6-4, but Edmonton bounced back with a 5-1 victory in Game 2.
