New York evened the series against Florida at 1.

Barclay Goodrow notched at 14:01 of OT, and the NY Rangers won against the Florida Panthers at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY, in Game 2 to tie the East Conference finals.

Barclay fired a snap shot from above that circles over goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky’s right shoulder, securing the overtime triumph and making the fans in the Big Apple happy.

Vincent Trocheck notched at the beginning of the game and Igor Shesterkin stopped 26 shots for the Rangers. Matt Rempe returned to New York lineup and his presence on the ice was visible as the team from the Big Apple played a lot better than the 3-0 Game 1 defeat.

Carter Verhaeghe notched for Florida and Bobrovsky stopped 29 shots. The Floridian NHL franchise lost for only 2nd time in 7 matches away from home in the postseason.

The matchup shifts to Florida for the next 2 matches.

New York had a fantastic opportunity at the beginning of the OT, but Filip Chytil missed it.
