The Dallas Mavericks and restricted free agent Grant Williams are very close to inking a 4-year, 53 million dollar deal as part of a 3-franchise sign-and-trade agreement with Boston and San Antonio, the famous ESPN reporter Adrian Wojnarowski announced.

Spurs will get Reggie Bullock and an unprotected 1st round pick swap in 2030 from Mavericks, while both the Boston – Williams ex-club – and the Mavs will get 2 second-round selections.
Boston will also acquire a 6.2 million dollar trade exception.
Grant notched 8.1 points and grabbed 4.6 boards for the Celtics in the last campaign while shooting almost 40% from the 3-point line on almost 4 attempts per match. He can be a crucial player for Dallas to help from the bench to superstars Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.
Mavericks still can add another player in the free agency as they have a midlevel exception.
“I felt like I had done enough to maintain the conversation … I played well enough to be like, ‘He’s worth this amount, but could be worth more if he was unrestricted.”
