Since it became known that Jordan Love will be QB1 in the Green Bay Packers, the organization demands patience with the new starting QB.
Packers’ president Mark Murphy says he expects “at least half a season” before GB will know whether QB Jordan Love can be their franchise guy moving forward.

However, now we know how much the franchise is willing to wait for Jordan to show that he is the right quarterback for them after, in the past 30 years, one of the best QBs played for the Packers – from Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers.
“I’m comparing it a little bit to Rodgers 1st season as a starter, yeah, I’d say at least half a campaign to know,” Green Bay President Mark Murphy shared today. “And I think even though we finished the campaign with more losses than victories, we saw what we needed to see from Rodgers to know that he is the organization’s future.”
Green Bay finished 6-10 in Aaron’s debut year as a starter in 2008, but the franchise offered him a deal extension halfway through the campaign.
