The left tackle had already been sidelined for Thursday night’s clash vs. Detroit Lions, but now he will not be on the field for at least 3 more games. We can see him on the field earliest on November 5th vs. LA Rams.
Bakhtiari was part of the 1st match of the new NFL campaign, but after that, the left tackle missed the next 2 matches before being placed on the injured reserve’s list today.
On the last day of 2020, he suffered a knee injury in training. David has had 3 procedures on that knee since the injury and has missed 24 of the possible 47 regular-campaign matches since the beginning of the 2021 campaign.
David (31), a 5th-time All-Pro pick, shared earlier in September that he doesn’t think about retirement at this moment in his career.
