The Cleveland team looked more composed and disciplined and deservedly won

The Cleveland Guardians emerged victorious in their clash against the Chicago White Sox 6-3 on Thursday night.

Josh Naylor was the star of the show as he drove three runs, while rookie Tanner Bibee itched into the 7th inning to give Cleveland the edge.

The White Sox suffered their 6th straight loss despite hitting two homers through Jake Burger.

Meanwhile manager Terry Francona notched his 1,926 win of his career, which pot him in 13th place in the all-time list tied with Casey Stengel.

Naylor drove in two with a double and scored in a three-run third against Dylan Cease that gave the Guardians a 4-0 lead. He also had a RBI double in the seventh when reliever Aaron Bummer deflected his soft comebacker with his bare hand. The ball trickled into center field, and Andrés Giménez scored on the play to make it 5-3.

Steven Kwan and Giménez each scored two runs, and the Guardians came away with the win even though they were 5 for 19 with runners in scoring position.
