The Sky Blues head coach, Pep Guardiola, claims his team is in trouble with the huge list of players that are sidelined, and that threatens to disrupt Manchester City’s phenomenal beginning of the new campaign.
🇪🇸 Pep Guardiola:
🎙️ “We are in trouble but I am not going to say ‘oh, we have a lot of injuries.’ It is what it is. We have five important players injured and to sustain that for a long time would be difficult.
Next we have Nottingham Forest. Two Champions League winners.… pic.twitter.com/6BfmlHpKmU

The Champions League champions only had 6 outfield footballers on their bench for the 3-1 UCL win against Red Star Belgrade.
And their 7th consecutive win in all tournaments came at a cost as Bernardo Silva became the latest footballer to pick up an injury which, according to the manager will sideline him for the next several weeks.
Silva joins Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish, Mateo Kovacic, and John Stones on the side’s injured list.
“We are in trouble but I am not going to blame the injuries if something negative happens’. It is what it is,” shared Man. City’s boss.
“With the footballers we have, we will try to win each match. As long as we have that mentality, everything is under control.”
