Mercedes star driver Lewis Hamilton believes it will be extremely difficult to fight Red Bull’s Max Verstappen for the title this season in Formula 1.
The Dutch pilot opened the battle this year with confident win in Bahrain.
“I think he will be very, very confident. It seems to me that last year Red Bull managed to develop an amazing car, they broke almost all possible records. I don’t think Max can trip. He’s a world champion, so I wouldn’t question his attitude and his composure. I think he will be as collected and focused as ever and our job is to try to catch him,” Hamilton told Racefans.
The second round of the 2023 Formula 1 season will take place on March 19 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
