John Harbaugh has agreed to the 5-campaign contract the NY Giants offered him a few days ago, the head coach revealed today.
“It’s one of the biggest teams in the NFL,” Harbaugh claimed. “I’m very happy to be the boss of the New York Giants and really honored to work with the Mara and Tisch families. But most importantly, I’m excited to get started with the great footballers on the Giants to see what we can achieve together.”
Harbaugh led the Baltimore Ravens for the past 18 years, going 180-113 and winning a Super Bowl, before he was dismissed in the past week after they failed to qualify for the postseason.
The Giants’ record in the last 2 years is 7-27, and they hope that Harbaugh can make them a contender again. The organization dismissed Brian Daboll 2 months ago, and Mike Kafka led New York in their last 7 matches of the season.

John interviewed with the Falcons at the beginning of the week and was planning to meet with the Titans 2 days ago, but the Giants had him on Wednesday, and both parties reached an agreement.
