The 76ers fly away to Milwaukee for their opening game of the 2023-24 season on Thursday night and Harden will be looking to get into the starting sheets.
The 34-year-old infamously requested a trade from Philadelphia over the summer, which failed to get through and many have questioned whether he is still committed to the club.
However, the 76ers have asked Harden to stay in Philadelphia and continue with his preparation. So, it is unlikely he will feature at all in the opening 2 games on the road.
After the transfer saga the point guard’s name has been linked with the Clippers, but there is still a sizeable gap between the two parties in their demands for a potential deal.
