It is very unlikely that the Beard will be on the court in Philadelphia’s regular campaign opener vs. the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday.
James, who requested a trade after picking his almost 36 million dollar player option for the upcoming campaign, did not show for training Wednesday or Thursday before he was ruled out for the final preseason clash against Atlanta on Friday.
The franchise announced that the guard is not with the team because of a personal matter.
Harden has been in conflict with the 76ers in the past months as his demand to be traded to the Los Angeles Clippers has not been fulfilled. The Beard arrived late to the practice camp, then disappeared, and didn’t attend practices since last week.
