The 31-year-old has put pen to paper just one day before becoming a free agent.
This will be Barnes’ sixth year with the Kings as he will be hoping they continue their fine run of form, having qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2006.
Barnes averaged 15.0 points with the Kings last season, which ranks him 4th in the team behind De’Aron Fox, Domantas Sabonis and Kevin Huerter.
He was the only player in the squad to start all 82 games in the regular season.
